Dr. KAS

Dr. KAS provides visionary leadership as Executive Director, guiding our mission to combat food insecurity and promote equity through sustainable urban agriculture. He oversees all facilities—including our gardens, greenhouse, dome, kitchen, banquet hall, collaboration room, workshops, and pantry—while securing resources and partnerships that prioritize underserved and vulnerable populations. Dr. KAS champions Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) principles through trauma-informed, inclusive programming that dismantles systemic barriers, cultivating a radically welcoming environment where everyone—regardless of background or circumstance—gains equitable access to fresh food, transformative education, and supportive community connections for lasting resilience and well-being.
